Weigel’s Fuels Aid for Hurricane Victims

Newport, Tenn. – October 2024 – In response to the recent hurricane that has impacted communities across Eastern Tennessee and North Carolina, Weigel’s Fuels Aid for Hurricane Victims and is honored to announce the donation of 8,200 gallons of fuel to assist in recovery efforts. The fuel, including both diesel and unleaded, was provided to those affected by the hurricane to support emergency services, relief teams, and local residents in need. Due to our wonderful partners we were able to have Eagle Distributing  and the Smoky Mountain Farmers Co-op bring out fuel tankers to help divide the fuel amongst multiple smaller tankers to help cater to as many communities as we can for those affected by the hurricane

Heath, Smoky Mountain Farmers Co-op’s Feed Division Manager, and his dedicated crew, arrived early this Monday morning to help deliver and fuel to the hardest-hit areas, ensuring that essential services and recovery efforts can continue without interruption. This donation underscores Weigel’s commitment to supporting the communities we serve, particularly in times of crisis.
